Ltd. is a leading wholesaler and distributor of consumer electronics and related products selling and marketing quality products to retail stores, custom design specialists and integrators in the Australian marketplace. All at Audio Active share the passion for quality product and respect first rate engineering and technology. Audio Active head office is based in the commercial precinct of Albert Park, with logistics and distribution facilities in Laverton, Victoria, Australia. Audio Active was founded in 2009 and collectively, our team has hundreds of years experience in the industry in both the wholesale and retail sectors. Audio Active will only deal with the best specialist and independent retailers and custom integrators across Australia to ensure our partner brands are afforded the optimum demonstration and after sales service.

RICHARD BOURIS
Chairman
Richard founded specialist hi-fi retailer Soundair HiFi in Melbourne in 1976 and moved on in 1983 by purchasing JB Hi-Fi from John Barbuto which was then a single store trading in suburban East Keilor, Victoria. As joint Managing Director, Richard commenced the incredible growth phase of the JB Hi-Fi model. After 17 years of growth, Richard completed the sale of a majority share of the business to the investment trust division of Macquarie Bank. JB Hi-Fi listed as a public company in 2003 and is currently Australia’s largest home entertainment retailer with 157 stores across Australia and New Zealand with sales of $3 billion for year ended June 2011.
JEREMY BOURIS

Managing Director
Jeremy founded Audio Active in 2009, and prior to that gained experience in the consumer electronics industry through his work for several years as an executive at JB Hi-Fi. Jeremy is also co-founder and partner in businesses G3 Events and Kudos Melbourne. Jeremy is a Chartered Accountant with Bachelors degress in Arts and Commerce from The University of Melbourne, and has previously worked with international firms Deloitte, Ernst & Young, and PA Consulting Group.
PAUL CLARKE
General Manager Sales & Marketing
Paul has close to thirty years combined retail and wholesale experience in the Consumer Electronics industry in both the specialist and general market segments.
Paul was a partner in a successful multi site specialist retailer chain and has held senior positions with some of Australia’s leading suppliers and retailers including Pioneer Electronics, Toshiba and JB Hi-Fi. His qualifications include a Marketing Degree, Diploma in Sales Management and numerous courses in Financial Management and business principles. As with all members of the executive team, Paul has a great passion for the industry and of course listening to music through the best hi-fi systems!
STEVE BEHRENS
Regional Sales Manager
Steve has 20 years wholesale sale experience, starting out selling carpet, before moving into an on road sales role selling security products. Steve has spent the past 10 years working in the consumer electronics industry and has held sales roles with Grundig, Panasonic and more recently Synergy Audio.
ASHLEY WATSON
Regional Sales Manager
Ashley is a keen audiophile as well as having extensive experience with system design, sales and installation of Hi-Fi, Home Theatre, Custom Multiroom A/V and Professional A/V products.Calling on a background and passionate interest of all things multimedia, he has worked with everything from 2D / 3D Design and Animation through to Recording and Mixing of Sound for both CD and DVD. Ashley has many years experience with one of Australia's longest serving specialist stores and brings a wealth of experience to Audio Active.
DAVID MASON
Custom Integration Manager
David has been in the AV and electronics industry 38 years and has qualifications in computing, RF and industrial electronics. His experience spans a variety of areas including servicing, design and manufacture of Audio, Video, and RF, equipment and more recently with International Dynamics in product development, system design, evaluation and technical support.
NADINE LAMPARD

Accounts Manager
Nadine has completed her Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at Victoria University and is currently undertaking the CPA course. Nadine previously worked in a finance & accounting role at a boutique architectural firm in the city for 2 years, and is now enjoying applying her skills to the consumer electronics industry.
GRAEME BOUCHER
Logistics & Service Manager
Graeme has had thirty-six years of continuous involvement in the Consumer Electronics Industry; having held positions ranging from warehouse person, to Managing Director, and everything in-between. He is probably known by most reading this. Graeme took a four year hiatus/sabbatical, and is now back in the industry assisting in a support role at Audio Active. Graeme has either worked for, or run companies that are major consumer brands in this market.
MICHELLE GREENE

Marketing Manager
Michelle is a director of Audio Active and grew up working in the consumer electronics industry. Since completing a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne, Michelle has undertaken a variety of roles to expand her experience. These include over four years in Marketing at JB Hi-Fi, Marketing consulting for corporate hospitality company G3 Events, and running an online auction business.

Administration & Customer Service Assistant
Anthony has over 10 years experience in music production. He has composed and produced music for commercial release, television and film and is a former professional DJ. He has completed a Bachelor of Applied Music in Audio Production and is now applying his skills and passion for audio into the consumer electronics field.
